He feels better if there is weight on him.
As if, somehow without it,
he will be reminded of all the weight he carries.
So we bought a blanket that is weighted
because he cannot live under my body
but if he could
he would.
And I know this blanket will not keep him warm
it will not keep him safe
but neither could I.
