Wonder into the Wind

You used to wonder into the wind to seek answers to the unknown.
You would place your hands on the Braille of a tree trunk
to gain meaning from this life into your next.
A leaf falling would touch your face in a ways that said
you may ask, I will not answer
Your thirst for meaning, never ending
even as you walked into the setting sun
still asking why.
