Day 4 – Spacecraft and Poetry

Once again, this is a prompt from NaPoWriMo. I’ve linked to it in my other postings. Today’s prompt involved using the unusually named spaceships featured in science fiction novels by Iain M.Banks. It was much more fun than the shanty.

A Series of Unlikely Explanations

It was not that they were unlikely, that’s not what made you angry.
It wasn’t even that they were explanations.
Nope.

What got to you, more than anything in this entire world,
was that they were in a series.

You have not tolerance for such things.

Sequels bother you,
order bothers you
and you simply cannot stand
when a story refuses to end.
