Put it in a bottle
send it up in smoke
no matter what you say
people only listen after you spoke.

Messages lost in the sky
or on ocean waves
altogether lost
are not the messages I crave.

So say it loudly to the sun
say it to the wind
but say it because, if not,
that is where you have sinned.
